We could probably get a 1st for Tanev. And Mantha seems to be trending toward cap dump territory

The UFA offers are light

The Caps would probably want one of your late in round 1sts (2023 BOS 1st or 2024 TOR 1st) and more, but i dont think TOR should do it, nor is he worth it.

Two more expiring UFAs in 2024?

Considering his numbers, they will probably pay you a 4th.

For Tanev, the flames could get a 2nd elsewhere, but perhaps two 3rds is just as good. It really depends on the market for shutdown defensemen and the UFA class is weak this year.

Mantha had 27 points last year in 67 games. He isn't young enough and his AAV isn't small enough to warrant a 1st.

lol what...? Caps would be lucky to get anything for Mantha. If anything, the Caps add a sweetener (a 3rd possibly)...

Oh I agree, but they'll want something better than a NYI 3rd in 2024 and Toronto only has its 1sts, but as I say, TOR shouldn;t do it and Mantha isnt worth it
