Zboril doesn't have the upside that Vaakanainen does. If that's the swap you want to do the Ducks will just keep Vaaks and cross our fingers that he can stay healthy. This would be a different conversation if you were offering Forbort.

Sure he "could" move. Just like any other player in the league. But it would be incredibly bad faith by the Avs. Not to mention the Avs have been using college FA's to restock their prospect pool because they don't have draft capital. If you start trading guys that wanted to sign with you, then the college FA's will stop signing with the Avs.

More likely Hall likes playing with Mack AND Ranty and playing with a younger cup contender and likely taking a cap friendly contract to do so. lets face it, not paying much for Hall in a sense. im saying the trade would definitely be plausible.

This was all in reference to Malinski. Hall is a potential target for the Avs that may make sense. But there are other prospects that would make more sense for the Avs to include in the deal.
