Ottawa is adding Chychrun and Norris to an 86pts team. And goaltending cant get worse than it did last year with .895 team save percentage
Meanwhile Detroit lost Hronek and Bertuzzi

Honestly the entire Atlantic division is a toss-up- I don't know if even your leafs are safe, and I wouldn't be at all surprised if my Bruins fell out of the playoffs. I picked against Florida mainly because I don't trust their goaltending- Bobrovsky has been extremely streaky in his career. I could easily be wrong however

They could get Bertuzzi back if they want they have a ton of cap space

Fair... I think if Leafs extend Matthews, they are the safest bet to make it. Otherwise, the media might get into their heads which can distract anybody.

The only 2 things I'm almost sure of is that MTL and OTT are going to miss the playoffs

My little hot take is seattle finishing over LA next year. I think it'll be a two steps back, three steps forward year for LA, guys like Kopitar, Doughty, Gavrikov and Danault won't be as good but Byfield, Vilardi and Clarke will continue to grow. They are gonna be a force in 2-3 years but I see them being a WC next year while Seattle has the best depth in the league by far rn and if they add a star player (Nylander, Kane, etc.) they could win the west

Detroit has a young core and a ton of cap space- they could be very active in the trade market if they want to. I don't know if Colombus will actually be that good but there's always a few surprise teams and I think their roster was better than their record this year
