Bad deal for Carolina. Necas put up 70 points at 24 last year and is still a RFA. Nylander is a pending UFA and doesn’t make up for the downgrade from Pesce (even as a pending UFA) to McCabe imo.

Pesce > McCabe, don't think that is controversial

A Pending UFA Nylander isn't worth a younger Necas that only had like 15 less points and is an RFA meaning team control. All in all, I wouldn't move either piece off the Canes roster for the ones Toronto is giving up right now
