We're looking for a long-term LhD solution, such as a young player with term. Dillon is neither. If we can't find someone to fit that bill, we may circle back for a stopgap, but I guarantee you, we won't be paying our first pick in this year's draft for him.

OTT is NOT taking that trade. Ostapchuk alone is worth more than Scheifele right now.

Not only Scheifele has only 1 year left, he's not the type the Sens need

- They don't need centers (Stutzle, Norris, Pinto, Greig, Ostapchuk)

- Don't think Ottawa is very interested in trading Ostapchuk

- No idea why Scheifele would have more value than DeBrincat, even if he wasn't UFA to be

- Scheifele is not good defensively, that's not what they need
