You'd have to pay the hawks to take comrie. No way is he worth a 3rd

maybe, but you have 6 picks in the first two rounds this year. a 4th will work.

No need to throw them away on a bad backup goalie whose value is literally zero.

13th + Savoie + Rosen would be one of the biggest returns for a d man the last 20 years.

Somehow that's not enough for Andersson & value for Hanifin lmao. Some people on here are hilarious.

terrible trade for BUF why not just pay Severson, Dumba, Gudas and not give up anything let alone our best prospect for a 3/4 dman

He is a top pairing RD one a team friendly contract with term and not even in his prime. No, it isn't.

because andersson is younger, cost controlled, a lot better, and still improving. we'd have dahlin-samuelsson, power-andersson, and in a year johnson-jokiharju. that's elite and in line for when levi will be ready for a long playoff run, along with kulich, peterka, quinn, krebs, in their prime. plus we'd still have ostlund/poltapov/kisakov/kozak/nadeau/neuchev in the system. we still have 2 2nd rounders this year and a 1st next year to make additions. killorn will help instill culture for two seasons and with a growing cap, our smart extensions will give us cap room to gap fill. you have to give to get.

It's probably pretty close value wise. But Flames aren't trading him so it's moot. Also I don't see why Buffalo would want another offensive defenseman. Someone like Severson makes way more sense for them

Insanely high AAV there for Killorn, I know cap space isn't much of an issue for Buffalo but that money can be used for much better (and potentially younger) players.

That's 3 first round picks my guy. Conroy would not only say yes, but disconnect all communication devices so Kevyn Adams coudn't back out.

Yes it is. Much more than Dougie Hamilton got. More than Seth Jones got. On par with what friggin Erik Karlsson got. You're dreaming.

That is a bad take.

Fine to say that flames won't trade andersson.

If he were to be traded this would be the best possible case scenario for the flames.

A lottery pick in one of the most anticipated drafts in recent time. A top 10 pick from last year who is highly regarded. And a top 15 pick from 2 years ago who just had a great rookie ahl year and floors out as a middle 6 winger. With a ceiling of a top line producing wing

That would be a nice start to a rebuild for Calgary. It's a lot and losing Savoie would hurt. But Buffalo could do this trade and still have a pretty strong system, especially with as young as the Sabres are already and who will be locked up long term by the end of the offseason.

I'm not dreaming because I wouldn't want the flames to make that trade. We have no depth at RD or C in our pipeline. The flames never rebuild, so we aren't going to fill this positions any time soon. We traded Dougie Hamilton for Lindholm and Hanfin 5 years ago (along with Adam Fox who wouldn't sign with anyone but NY).

Cool never said Flames were gonna trade him. Value wise it's fine. Probably a bit much.
