I can guarantee that Demko won’t be traded for an ok prospect and a 3rd

Yeah, you're right the Canucks and their bottom-five prospect pool should definitely be turning down the fifth best prospect in a top-three pool. Ceulemans immediately becomes the Canucks second best prospect, and even that's debatable with how bad Lekkerimaki's season was. I do agree the pick should probably be higher, perhaps the 34OA. Goalies never get the returns they deserve.

Canucks are not rebuilding. Canucks without Demko is the atrocity you saw this season.

Doesn't matter, he's simply not good enough to be dealt for a Top 10 goalie in the NHL. And also while VAN doesn't have any superstars in their pipeline, they have plenty of prospects who will become quality NHL players.
