Without Bahl, Tampa doesn't trade Colton. This is far more realistic at least than most of the bad trades I've seen on here with Colton going to N.J. for pieces and picks Tampa could care little about.

Great. We'd still rather have Bahl than Colton.

If Bahl is the base for Colton then NJ won't do it. With Graves coming off this deal this summer, Bahl is the 3rd lock for the left side behind Siegenthaler and Hughes, otherwise our LHD prospects aren't NHL ready yet.

From Tampa's viewpoint, that's what it would take. If the fit isn't there, fine, Tampa will trade him for the LD somewhere else. Just posting g a realistic offer from Tampa's perspective instead of the usual bad offers I see on here for him.

Point is that the Devils trading for Colton achieves absolutely nothing.
And as other have alluded to, Bahl is more valuable to the Devils lineup than what Colton would be.

Well if a bunch of NJ agms want to keep making bad trades for Colton, Tampa fans can at least post what it would actually take, a need for Tampa, not magic beans and spare parts.
