Hart has some pretty good value but he doesn’t carry this value. He still plays the most volatile position.

A 1st, 2nd and 3rd seems about right maybe even a little high.

Goalies are never worth 1st round picks, in the draft or via trade. No exceptions.

Guhle(16th OA i think 2020) , 5th OA and 37th OA for Fantilli even move the needle ?

It would make him one of the higher paid Goalie Trades in history for sure.
He might get a 1st a good prospect a late pick and a NHL Warm Body for Contract Purposes
Thats the most i really see and even thats high but Justifiable if they're taking on bad deals like they did in the Provorov trade as CBJ wasnt moving on the 1st and 2nd round pick with RS.
LAK had to dump some players PHI could actually use and LAK RS of 2m to dump 7m in contracts paying Grans and a 2nd to give PHI what they felt Provorov was worth.

They'll need another deal like that to get what he's asking on any of these deals.
In a 3 way trade the odds are let call it 75/100 but just two teams , that return ? i'd say 15/100 so 15% odds
With 100% odds MTL doesnt have interest at that cost

He’s asking for Elite young skater returns in these trades. They’d have to take back a ton of cap to get close to this return for Hart. Now if he packaged Hart and Konecny there might be something close to these from a contender.

To Be Fair though we were all saying that about Provorov for over a year now.
That said i dont agree that Hart should get a top 10 pick in any trade ever
I was just Generalizing using Provorov trade as an example of the hoops they'd need to go through to get even close to that.

Hart is massively overvalued in all of these deals. He's an average goalie, and most teams won't mortgage their future to acquire a player like him.

There's a high discrepancy in value to drop from #2 OA and Gibson to get #7, #22 and Hart (who will likely need a contract in the $6-7 million range), especially in this draft.

I don't even think a prospect like Gauthier, York or Brink moves the needle much to warrant moving down from #2 to #7 in 2023. A 2023 early 2nd, or 2024 1st round pick is more in-line with valuation.
