Columbus passes no need for more wings.

Jets trade seems interesting to me tbh
Might need to find a different team to take on Olofsson though

Flyers would probably take it, though I doubt Buffalo would offer it.

I think they would offer it since Hart has some team control and term.

I don’t know what the thoughts are on Nate Schmidt, but the idea would be to get Heinola. I really think WPG is going to try hard to do a re-tool and not a full on rebuild, and I do think they would like to move out Schmidt, which will be a challenge due to his contract and NTC.

I don’t think Schmidt is a bonafied lock down top pair D by any stretch, but he’s a good, LHD who can play both sides and is respectable in his own end, can move the puck, has some skill, and kill penalties, eat minutes, and provide a great locker room presence. Sounds like the perfect partner/mentor for Power.

Don’t know what WPG fans think of him, but he just seems like a guy where if he were making less, they’d like him more.

Heinola would be the prize for me though. He has the upside and can slide into the third pair easily to start with Lybushkin, and maybe play on PP2
