If this came with a swap of 2oa+ to Chicago for 1oa as well it would be something to consider. Comtois isnt valuable in this deal he would be fighting for a spot in the top 9. Would still need an additional piece imo

There's no way in hell were giving up the Fantilli or Carlsson pick for Pettersson.

There's no way in hell Vancouver would trade their 24 year old top 5 in the league center for either Fantilli or Carlsson.

Must’ve missed the gm saying everyone’s on the table but Quinn, think Peterson on a expiring deal resigns to a team that doesn’t value him?

Pettersson was actually the only one that was said to be untouchable, tho Hughes would still be a huge offer for us to consider it

Cool story bro, I'll tell you what I keep telling all the Toronto fans, 2OA is not on the table, end of discussion. Teams in the middle of a rebuild don't trade out high value picks for older players. When Ottowa bought Cat, they were signaling they were ready to start competing.

If either of those players turn into Pete would that be considered a success? Also Nolan Patrick Went second why not take the guy who’s proven

Why not answer your own question, Nucks are still supposed to be competing, why not take the guy who's proven?

I see them going to a rebuild, the Jt contract really kills them imo, Petey is gonna want over 9 and he deserves it, don’t think van will be able to pay him and have the depth needed to be a contender

CBJ is known to need a number 1 center, they've got a team that is much closer to being a competitor, you might try them for 3OA.

Anaheim on the other hand is too far away from competing, has too many Centers already, and our biggest problem is our defense.

I half thought they could move down in the draft and take a d man, but there isn’t many until the mid teens this year

I believe you mixed up Elias and Quinn though Elliott did say it would take a mammoth offer for the Canucks to move him
