To get McDonagh with retention... I'm asking for Liljegren and Robertson.

It probably would be a picks swap or smth. You get a 2023 late 2023 2nd or the SJS 3rd and McDonagh, while we move up and get Boston’s first. I don’t see a whole lot of guys here that the Preds would want, so I think something around picks is probably our best option.

I’m not so sure we have to bring in another middling, young RD and an incredibly injury prone Robertson. I don’t think it makes sense based on where this team’s at

Hard pass on that, Robertson is useless.

This would be a pretty sweet deal for both sides I think, NSH gets another 1st and we get a playoff-quality top-4 defender

Being a T.O. native, I hear a lot on the talk radio about him, and Matthews is on record saying he is the best shooter on the team. His problem is that the T.O. media is too hard on him and so it gets to his head. Put him in a market where the media isn't as heavy, and he'll do just fine. And if I'm not mistaken, Nashville NEEDS scorers.

I think Lilly and Robertson would fit in just fine in the new youth movement on this team. Nashville doesn't need more draft picks... they already have more picks than available contract spots... so that's why I'm bringing in the 2 young guys rather than a late first rounder.

TO media or not, no interest in Robertson. He could be the best shooter ever but he's been injured way too much to consider him an asset.
