The Devils 2nd becomes a 1st. Devils were a round away this time to getting SJS that 1st.

Barbanov for a first is so funny. I’d give a 3rd for him. Maybe. Not even close to a first

Vlasic had a very good bounce back season. Not a 7 mil season but he was far better than anyone gave him credit for.

Karlsson SHOULD win the Norris. What he did on a very bad team was nothing short of incredible.

If Barabanov gets 50+ points he will or should return a late 1st.

Labanc isnt worth that.

The Devils look very strong. Very possible.

Good thing Brabanov had 47 and wouldve had 5-10 more if not for injury.

No one gives him the credit he deserves but if he were given top six minutes anywhere else he would get heaps more attention. Hes an adept playmaker, passer and forechecker. Plays well in all three zones and competes hard. He is better than Goodrow and Goody returned a 1st.

5, Labanc for a 2nd, is probably the least likely. I think he'll get marketed as a "needs a change of scenery" type player, and so maybe some kind of deal where we take a cap dump coming back our way with a pick or other reclamation project attached. Basically a cap neutral deal for the other team where we don't have to use up a retention slot. Something like Anthony Mantha + a pick. WSH gets a better player and 1m in cap space, Sharks get a little sweetener and no ones on the hook for anything long term.

If we trade EK65 we'll be down to 1 retention slot for a while and this year using it with Barabanov or maybe a 1 year FA we pick up as a reclamation project is probably going to bear more fruit than Labanc.

least likely? IMO Labanc for a 2nd
he destroyed his value this year. I think at best SJ fans can expect a 3rd

for the others: karlsson should get the norris, good chance SJ selects Will Smith, Vlasic will improve or stay about where he was last year, Barbie likely gets a 2nd or maybe the latest of possible 1sts, Grier will probably make an underwhelming trade based on his record so far, and NJ will likely pull off the ECF

56 pt pace and the cap hit would be 1.25. That's easily a first + a little something.

Regarding #6. I'm sure that's what people thought about Reedy for J. Peterson but it looks like our pro scouts nailed that one. Peterson is a fantastic player

I'm not sure why Grier so much hate. He's made some unbelievable moves in a very short time
