Why would we exchange Vilardi for one season of Nylander? That's entirely aside from the fact that we couldn't afford the $5.25 million cap coming in -- all of our current cap space has to be devoted to acquiring a starting goalie.

Nylander for Durzi+ leaves the Kings with ~2M in cap to find a starting goalie and put the finishing touches on the starting lineup. A tough ask for a team, especially when they likely won’t be able to extend Nylander past this season.

Thats an overpay for Hellebuyck the Jets would be foolish not to take but Treliving wouldn't help his ol buddy Chevy out like that.
