Murray doesn't cost Liljegren or Robertson to move and Muzzin won't play so he won't be moved.

I could see Muzzin in Arizona if he's not playing. Once the Leafs pay his bonus he's only owed 2 million so he saves AZ money.

TBL declines. Future Considerations isn’t the player he used to be.

Both Murray and Muzzin are cap dumps. Yes its most likely they don't trade Muzzin, but just giving perspective. Liljegren and Robertson aren't worth just a cap dump. But keep in mind you are getting a solid starting goalie in return. Vejmelka is easily worth that

TO has Woll and Samsonov and Murray. They have no need for Vejmelka

Yes you have a point, but lots of discussion and rumours have said that they might not resign Sammy if he costs a lot. Vejmelka would be a cheaper cap option and they would deal Murray. So you think of it, that’s a lot of cap space saved.

What were Vejmelka’s numbers this year? He was outplayed by Wedgewood last year and Ingram this year. No contending team is taking a flyer on a goalie with a career GAA north of 3.50 and a save percentage south of .900 who gets outplayed by waiver pickups.

Because they believe in Woll and have Murray. Wasting a bunch assets to get a backup is super dumb. Also it's not rumors or reports it's all speculation. It's internet bloggers making stuff up to get dummies like me mad.

Well thats not what the experts at TSN and Sportsnet are saying. And you say Toronto say no thank you, but I do recall seeing Toronto say YES to and injury prone Matt Murray. laugh

Well, that injury prone Matt Murray won two Stanley Cups. He wasn’t sitting on the bench but leading his team. That said, Toronto should have paid more attention to his recent history because that’s exactly what they got. You are forgetting one thing — Ottawa retained and gave up 2 picks, Toronto didn’t pay for him by giving up quality young assets.

Well no but Ottawa did. So Toronto will have to pay to get him moved. Nothing against Murray tho. Im a diehard pens fan and still love Murray even though he hasn't done anything since. But like his playing style and him in general. To bad he's always injured. Imagine what he would've been like if he wasn't injured all the time.

Toronto has almost 15 million in cap space. They got a 3rd to take him with 2 years, I doubt they give up good young players. Toronto will just go with Sammy and Woll. They will either buy out Murray or put him on LTIR. Watching Murray his problem seems to be more mental at this point. He loses his focus after giving up a couple.

The "experts" in the media these days say whatever gets the clicks. A sure fire way to do that is suggest bad trades for TO. It has the two fold benefit of enraging leaf fans and getting troll nation going at it. It's not ever reporting, just speculating. And that is not in anyway reality.
