    Which means we can trade other less important players like Hanifin, and still have our best player from last year, while trading a player that is more likely not to want to sign long term

    The only team who actually NEEDS help hitting the floor is Chicago, every other team in the league gets there with RFA signing and league minimum contracts.

    Furthermore, Murray's real salary owed makes it a VERY unattractive candidate to chase for cap, when Tyler Meyers gets you 6 million in cap for just 1 million in real salary.

    You WILL have to pay to offload Murray
