Hawks aren't in a position to be adding guys like panarin just yet. That's how you ruin rebuilds like the rangers oh wait..

I'm not sure who says "no" faster, the Hawks or the Breadman. Bread isn't leaving NY to return to Chicago unless it's over the summer to party w/ Kaner on Lake Michigan.

Only reason the hawks would accept would be to flip panarin for a profit but his nmc prevents that. Hawks are still at the beginning of a rebuild. Yeah they got lucky but it doesn't mean they're gonna trade for superstars and say the rebuild is over already. They wanna be bad for a couple more seasons and get another top 5 draft pick or two. Acquiring panarin isn't part of that plan.
