Don't think ANA will be spending 1st on a guy that will be only ther for 2 years. They don't be competing for another couple years.

As a caps fan i don't really like getting rid of Protas, and I would say target one or the other, do not sign them to matching 8x8 contracts

Anaheim hard declines that trade.

Caps decline the Winnipeg trade.

Ottawa probably thinks about that trade. But taking Mantha out would probably make it work just fine.

As far as the team goes, you're cap strapped on a 22 man roster and you've underpaid Fehervary and DeBrincat and Dubois might ask for more. Can't add DeBrincat and Dubois together without other moves, and realistically it's not gonna happen.

You REALLY need to check out the news. Jeff Markek broke it yesterday. PLD and his agent are giving the Jets at least 5 teams he will sign LT with and they will work with the Jets. Think the Tkachuk deal. Sign and Trade.

SO much better for the Jets now.

It’s a joke to illustrate that your consideration for this trade was completely one sided. ANA has no need for a 31 year old center with 2 seasons left on his deal. Meanwhile coming off last place in the league, they have a lot of need for their 1st round picks

Agreed. So the contract will be less and the returns will be less. But, the returns will be more than the CRAP HABS fans keep posting... Dvorak and the FLA pick.
