Like Sloanmeadollar said, Oshie will be signing for a contract that most likely begins with a "6". Also, I'm sorry but there's no way Montreal doesn't match the Hawks offer on Galchenyuk for $4.5 million. That would be a very reasonable salary for that guy and Montreal has over $19 million in cap space.

It's not really about what Montreal wants to pay Galchenyuk, it's that they don't see him as a center and want to package him for help down the middle. I don't think Anisimov is what they're looking for either, but just pointing out that it's not about the price of Chucky so much as the situation.
