Your tripping....
A. Aho isn't on the table
B. Even if he was... Pettersson would be having to go the other way

Like most Montreal fans, I love Gallagher. But I'd do this trade in a heartbeat.

JT Miller is the type of player Carolina needs in the playoffs, you watch next season. And the Canucks could use Aho, who will likely not stay in Carolina long term

no reason to do that MTL trade. Boeser makes more sense on Ahos wing. Mayfield gets 4mil too im guessing after that Gabby signing.

Aho is likely to sign a 6-year+ contract extension this off-season... He's going to be a Carolina Hurricane until he retires and J.T. Miller's contract is awful and you'd have to pay us to take it on

I mean there have been more one-sided trades in NHL history, but not many.

I'm sorry what? You want Carolina to take on Miller's anchor AND give up Aho? Did you forget to include EP40? This is comically bad

Yeah I agree with this man JT Miller's contract is imoveable and Aho is Imoveable without you sending EP40 and a 1st (so we can flip it off for ADB

While I agree Carolina doesn’t do the proposed trade, they would have to add significantly to Aho for the Canucks to consider moving EP40. Something like an extended Aho, Nikishin, and Jarvis/Necas minimum

Hawks obviously decline. I doubt they'd give Van that 4th for Hoglander straight up. Hawks taking OEL for free is pure fantasy.

Aho and Nikishin are off the table but I can see a package includes:
1. 23-26 1st,2nd and 3rd picks
2. Scott Morrow (our other top defensive prospect)
3. Tuevo Tervanian (can flip him at the deadline for more return)
4. Martin Necas (break out season)
5. Hurricanes take on one of your awful contracts

Canes and Vancouver aren’t good trade partners. M
Canes aren’t interested in any players vancouver is trading at their current contract rates. Vancouver refuses to rebuild so, EP isn’t available for big futures. There isn’t a fit.

That’s a great offer, but personally I think Nikishin is an absolute must. Teravainen isn’t a great fit since we already have too many wingers. Obviously 4 years of 1sts is insane, but they are all likely to be very late, and I can’t imagine any team willing to give 4 consecutive 1sts. Necas and Morrow are obviously great pieces and a good start to a package, but Nikishin needs to be included

Personally in the unlikely scenario EP40 is moved I think Columbus has the best potential offer (if they are willing to include 2 of Johnson, Jiricek, and 3OA). That would be tough for Carolina to beat

I mean any price for EP40 is going to be a massive overpay

Seeing that Vancouver is still hungry to compete with a bad roster, they won’t be moving EP.

I don't see Columbus offering a massive package to move for EP40. I mean Nikishin isn't on the table and the offer I did is way more than fair considering Morrow's potential as a top-pairing defenseman on top of the 2 top-six wingers that I already offered. Teravainen is a good fit because he's a very good PKer and you guys need that considering how awful your PK was last year but I can totally see the argument that it might be too many wingers on that team
