    1. Chiarot, Ben
    Additional Details:
Given that the LD is pretty deep in Detroit (Walman, Edvinsson, Maatta) then you have Johansson and Wallinder in the pipeline, there really isn’t room for Chiarot (unless he plays on his offside).

Do you play him on his offside? Trade him (for perhaps another contract of similar AAV). Curious to hear the Red Wings fans thoughts on this player and his contract.

No Adams is a better GM and the Sabres are a lot better.

If Adams is a better GM, why did you pay a 2nd and 5th for Greenway. The Wild were desperate to get off his contract. Also, I question the Stillman for Bloom trade.

Don’t get me wrong, the drafting has been incredibly solid, but the trades need a little work.

Bloom was never going to be an impactful forward Sabres are the 3rd highest scoring team this past year they won’t miss bloom. Greenway trade don’t love it, but it’s high risk high reward. He nailed all of the Eichel, Reinhart and Ristolainen trades.

Edvinsson will start the year on IR, so the 2nd pair will likely be Maatta-Chiarot and the 3rd will be Johansson-TBD

You could say the same about Yzerman’s handling of the Vrana situation.
Gifted the Blues a top 6 fwd and he’s retaining on that deal.
Trading up for Cossa and passing on Wallstedt is a major oof as well.
Not to mention how poor / underwhelming his signings of Copp, Nedeljkovic and Chiarot have been.

It’s not hard to draft well when you pick in the top 10 every year.
