We don't really have a need for a 3C. I'd also take Kyrou, Saad, Buchnevich and Vrana over Sharangovich on the wings. If we trade for Sharangovich he would play on the 3rd line and I'd rather play Neighbors/Blais/Kapanen on the 3rd line. Not to mention our best prospects are wingers in Bolduc and Snuggerud and we will have Dean another prospects to fill the 3C role. So really we have no need for Sharangovich as a winger or a center. It's a bad fit for the blues and a waste of a first from our POV.

At even-strength since Sharangovich arrived in NHL

Sharangovich 2766 min: 44g 50a 94pts
Barbashev 2806 min: 35g 51a 86pts
Buchnevich 2561 min: 38g 59a 97pts
O’Reilly 3385 min: 40g 57a 97pts
Saad 2750 min: 43g 41a 84pts

I think there would be a case to put him in top-6

Like I said, until something changes, his NHL position is winger. We've not seen him capably play C to the same level as his wing play.

You’ve watched a lot of Sharangovich then?

You do know that not all 5v5 minutes are the same right. Buch/ROR/Saad all played against the top lines while Sharangovich was demoted to the 3rd line on your team. Don't know why your including Barbashev and ROR on our team when they aren't anymore. We will most likely run Vrana/Thomas/kyrou and Buch/Schenn/Saad as our top 6 next year. There is no space for Sharangovich in that top 6. It also doesn't make sense to trade a first only for him to play on the 3rd line. If you want a first for him trade him to another team, the blues have no need or space for him.

When Sharangovich plays with Hughes….”he only gets points because he plays with Hughes”

When Sharangovich plays 3rd line…”he only gets points because the matchups are easier”

I think he would give Saad and Vrana a run for their money.

I guess it doesn’t make sense because Devils are a terrible lottery team with no good players and Blues are a Stanley Cup champion with too many good players.

Dude no one is saying anything like that. We are literally saying he is not a fit or what the blues are looking for. Also Saad was our 2nd best defensive winger last year and he's usually good for 20 goals a season. Vrana is an offensive top 6 players and does well with Thomas and Kyrou so that's why he plays with them. Putting Vrana on the 3rd line doesn't make sense from our point of view. Like I don't know how many times it has to be repeated, Sharangovich is not a fit for the blues.

Ehh we have expressly explained why and no one said anything remotely like that.
