Personally, I would not trade away Kidney. He’s a good power forward that has potential. Replace him by Dvorak and the 2nd pick with FLA’s and I think that would be a better deal.

WIN won’t have much trade options for PLD. Give em that first FLA and a center they’ll need to replace Dubois for a year or so. Throw in a 3rd rounder in 2025 if need be.

Just my opinion.

1. I wouldn't say he's a power forward
2. Where does he slot in with Suzuki, Beck, Dvo, Evans infront of him?
3.Pretty sure Winnipeg has several teams now interested in PLD.

I think the only reason Habs don’t get him in a trade is that Chev will take a lower offer elsewhere just to piss him off.

If other teams had a valid interest, I think he would’ve been traded by now. Problem is that he made allusions to MTL and Brisson his agent.. and Brisson ain’t one to talk to media unless something is up and messed up…

Kidney, he’s very surprising. Problem is that while the coach in Gatineau gets praised, he’s actually not that good to develop full potential or match players. Previous coach in Gatineau built wins with low players. Kidney would’ve performed better under Landry.

Keep an eye on him. Dvo can be traded out or not renewed in two. Evans, who knows what will happen. You need centers. Easier to move them on the wing than take a winger and try to get them to play center.

Just my two cents.
