Blues decline. Our defense is a weakness so we trade our best Dman for a winger which we already have plenty of and we attach 2 decent assets on top. Makes 0 sense from the blues perspective

Parayko is a better player than every dman on your team. Blues aren’t looking to get out from his contract. They are looking to get out of Krug’s but teams desire Parayko hence he’s in the news…

If Parayko was better than every Leafs defenceman, why is TO so much better defensively? Parayko's been not great since Pietrangelo left. He isn't a #1 and it shows. Keep him

They’re not better defensively hence you don’t win in the playoffs. Didn’t say Parayko was a #1. Leaf’s also don’t have a #1.

DiMarco is pretty close with the Flyers guys, I think its fair to say they've declined a 1st rounder, I don't think its fair to say the Leafs made that exact trade. That stuff is more speculative

Pietrangelo won you playoff rounds Parayko hasn't done much since he left.
