Sure that is the type of low ask we do for a risk like wheeler. I don’t think the jets fans will feel the same about the return

Well that sabres trade is definitely not happening in any of the existing universes.

The Jets aren't taking long term cap dumps without being paid to take them. The idea of taking bad contracts is to gain draft/prospect currency.

IMO Anderson have more value than Dvorak, so it's better than Dvorak going to WPG
Anyway, I don't think WPG will get full value for PLD

Why would the Jets trade Scheifele for Kuznetsov?
It's at best a lateral move no?

Of course it doesn't cost a first to trade one year of Wheeler at 50%.

Find a team on here who are welling to trade assets for Scheifele … at least Kutz have another year under contract

So I ask you again, why the trade? For one more year of the more expensive player who hasn't had time to build any chemistry with his line partners?

Yes, better that than receiving comments from other fan base : we don’t want Scheifele, he is too old and will ask for too much money & terms

Ok then, agree to disagree?
I think the Jets would be better off keeping Scheifele for the season and getting him to maybe resign.
If the season goes south, deal him at the deadline to a contender then, or trade him in the future if he's resigned . I can't see any reason to trade him now unless he asks to be traded out.

I thought he wanted out like PLD & Hellebuyck
But I agree with you

I don't know really ofc but I haven't read anything that points to it. But then I get your idea of trading him anyway 🙂
