SJS
  1. Kidney, Riley
  2. 2023 1st round pick (FLA)
  3. 2023 1st round pick (MTL)
  4. 2023 3rd round pick (MTL)
Additional Details:
I think that if SJ has interest in Michkov, this is a good price for them.

MTL
  1. 2023 1st round pick (CBJ)
CBJ
  1. Beck, Owen
  2. Farrell, Sean
  3. 2023 1st round pick (SJS)
  4. 2024 2nd round pick (COL)
Additional Details:
If CLB are hesitating between Smith and Carlsson, they should be fine with taking assets to go to 4
3.
MTL
  1. 2023 1st round pick (ANA)
ANA
  1. Harris, Jordan
  2. Roy, Joshua
  3. 2023 1st round pick (CBJ)
  4. 2023 2nd round pick (MTL)
Additional Details:
2nd to 5th is a big jump, but 2nd to 3rd, ANA could still grab Carlsson, so they could be fine with taking extra assets and Carlsson.

Roy is a big winger with Potential, they get a high 2nd, and a middle pair D that can play both sides

This seems built around the idea that everything is going to be transparent and go right for MTL every step of the way.

Jackets are waiting to see who's there between Carlsson and Fantilli. They don't trade the pick for anything less than a u25 1C and in Montreal's case it'd have to be Suzuki + 5.

You aren’t getting the 3rd overall pick without giving up the 5th pick

Just take Michkov or Leonard and save the assets. If you are seriously hesitant about Michkov, Leonard is the guy you take if all centers are gone. He is basically a Tkachuk light. Then just before the 2nd round begins you go to Winnipeg and offer the 2023 2nd, Kidney, Dvorak and the 2024 1st with top 12 protection for PLD. In 2 years your top 9 would be

      Caufield-Suzuki-Leonard/Michkov
      Slafkovsky-Dubois-Dach
      Roy-Beck-Anderson

Not a bad lineup if you ask me, even if you don't get PLD Dach is getting better at center, maybe he even breaks out.

It was more for fun than anything. Just a different approach to getting Fantilli. I am very fine with Leonard and even Michkov if MTL deems he is safe enough to draft.
