Justin Faulk was really good last year. What the F is your thought process here?

Hawks can manage just fine without giving up assets for Bobby Bortuzzo, we already have a version of him in Tinordi.

Why in the world would you do either of these? Tucker needs a year in the third pairing. You’re sticking him in the second where he’s gonna need to eat 20 minutes a night. I won’t even bother with the Faulk trade.

Hawks are thinner at RD than LD but I can’t see theHawks giving up a 4th for a 34 yr old bottom pair guy. Got to get the kids ice time in a rebuild.

Seattle doesn't need Faulk. While it would be a nice luxury, the cap hit would potentially create issues in future years, plus Seattle is not in win now mode despite a nice playoff run. If St. Louis wants Wennberg, her is probably available, but St. Louis would either need to retain salary on Faulk, or trade out another expiring contract.

Faulk was not good defensively last year, he is a turnover machine. Sure he puts up decent points, but his defense metrics are awful

Last year Faulk was the best offensive dman and defensive dman on the Blues. Pretty damn impressive for him to only be dash 4 when every other dman on the team was much worse.
