They need a defensive defenseman, not a PP guy who will take minutes from others.

Flyers easily reject. Olofsson is of no value to the Flyers unless a three team trade is involved. UPL does not have a ton of value and the 2nd and 3rd do not make a difference. Need a first instead of that third then they probably accept

Sabers pass on sharks trade
If I were the sabers I’d go for helly so he can’t mentor Levi.

And also score/create more goals than they concede.

Prepare to be disappointed with the return when he's traded then. He is not a proven starting goaltender, he could turn into next Matt Murray, no one is giving up multiple premium assets for him.

I disagree he is pretty proven. Last year he was great and the year before he was solid, all on a bad team as well. Plus Hart doesn’t need to go, and he won’t go unless a first round pick is involved, not a variety of scraps

He's hovering around .905 average for the last 3 seasons and 3 GAA and already makes nearly 4mil, no one is giving up multiple firsts for him. Because what you listed basically equates to a couple of late 1st round picks. Frankly I think I think he's a risk for the Sabres too but you buy him and hope either him or Levi works our long term, no team would bank on Hart solely because he has not proven he can do it so far (and 2 late 1sts implies you are banking on him to be a sure starter).

I agree that I don’t think the Sabres are the right fit for him but the Flyers are in no rush to move him and if they do quality assets need the come in the return. The Flyers have full leverage in this scenario and won’t move him unless the return is truly worth it

I think the Sabres are a perfect fit for Hart, what do you mean you agree. As I said when you have Hart and Levi, chances are one of them will prove an actual NHL starter. Hart hasn't proven that yet. Someone mentioned Hellebyuk above - I think he's a bad fit for Buffalo as you will absolutely have to re-sign him and give up a ton for him as he's proven quality NHL goalie, and yet you have Levi sitting there who I think has a better than 50% chance to turn into a quality NHL starter in a couple of years.

We have read countless post that Hart has the value of a first and more while Luukkonen is nearly worthless.
Let's compare GK and their respective teams:
Last three seasons:
Hart 0.900 SV% 44 W 58 L 4 T
Luukkonen 0.898 SV% 20 W 19 L 0 T

Flyers have surrendered 776 goals and given up 21,890 shots on goal.
Sabres have surrendered 789 goals and given up 21,934 shots on goal.

Two GK playing for equally bad defensive teams with nearly identical records other than Luukkonen has a better W/L record.

What I put in the trade equates to a 1st and more, it's not a straight swap for UPL. If I thought UPL is on the ame level as Hart right now or in the future, I wouldn't package UPL with 3 other assets for Hart. But Flyers fans dreaming that Hart will net them two 1sts should be prepared to be disappointed for sure. When was the last time a non-proven top 10 starter in the NHL netted such a return? Goalies are voodoo and are cheaper in trades for a reason unless you are talking about someone like Helle, Shesterkin, etc.

I think both teams would rather stick with their goalies instead of swapping them. Flyers don't benefit from Olofsson and the two picks are meh. They don't plan on moving him unless awe struck by an offer. UPL also his similar stats and it would save assests for the Sabres to keep him instead.

I agree. First, Philadelphia would need to move an additional asset with Hart. Buffalo would look bad overpaying. Second, Luukkonen is likely staying. Levi needs a full season in Rochester for development.

You can't start off your sarcasm with "I agree" and then not sarcastically agree with any points brought up. That's just goofy.
