      Seattle would politely decline. Their roster is very deep on the wing and shallower on defense, so it makes zero sense for them to trade away their second pairing RHD for a winger they don't need.

      I would rather just take a draft pick for Stanley -- I think a 3rd would be fair. WPG really doesn't need LHD. It wouldn't make sense playing Rathbone over Samberg, Heinola, Chisholm or even Capo, so he'd just end up being a waiver loss or an AHL dman.
