The Fourth Period listed St. Louis as a possible destination for Konecny. Flyers would be acquiring a good prospect and jumping from 22 to 10 while also picking up 29.

I think Bolduc is a pretty good prospect, so it might be too much to give up both him and the #10 overall pick. How about Bolduc and Toronto’s pick (#25) for Konecny?

Seems like this would give St. Louis too many defensemen though. They’d need to trade Faulk, Parayko or Leddy, but they all have full no-trade clauses.

Blues decline because we already have too many wingers. Our biggest problem is our defense and getting Konecny is a misuse of cap space and assets. Also the fourth period is rarely right about anything the blues do, in fact most of the stuff he says turns out the be flat out wrong regarding the blues. Our GM has said his biggest priority has been the defense and that he wants to upgrade it. The only thing he has mentioned about the forwards is getting a 3C to fill in the gap for now

Ignore that comment. Konecny is a winger, not a defenseman. I was confusing him with Travis Sanheim.

Uhh he is not worth 23 #10 overall AND Bolduc. Sorry, not to the Blues, who are already loaded with wingers and have other areas of need. I think you're underestimating how good a prospect Bolduc is. They can't really afford a trade like this anyway.

There is no chance STL pays this much. I think Bolduc and one of the later picks is plausable, but not the #10 overall.
