Description

If he wants $16m a year, you have to say goodbye. I understand Ducks maybe take their chances in UFA next year, just having fun with it. Would have to be a verbal understanding that Auston would sign an extension with ANA. Could probably remove Terry from this deal if needed.
It really is incredible how one trade can help make this team’s depth so much better. Despite losing the franchise player.

We are in a rebuild, we aren’t getting rid of those pieces that would be building blocks around Matthews — there isn’t any point to just rush this rebuild towards the end
