Nobody in this state thinks that the Ducks are interested in Michkov due to the geopolitical uncertainty as well as the "Jagr factor." There's a greater chance that Michkov wouldn't sign with Anaheim than any other 2023 first-round draft pick not signing with the team that drafted him, and for Anaheim, that would be a catastrophe.

Every additional erg of desperation for Fantilli you guys reveal just confirms that he's the right kid to pick with #2.
