I'd love to have Mcleod as our 3rd line center, but I don't think the Devil want to trade him and if they did it would cost more than Hoglander.

I just don’t see why they’d be open to that idea. Over the years I’ve been one of McLeod’s biggest detractors but the last 4-5 months he’s been a pretty big asset for the Devils playing way above his previous levels.
Other than #11, a future 1st or a prospect like Lekkerimäki or Räty I don’t think there’s any asset the Devils would be that interested in from the Canucks, and I have a hard time believing the Canucks would have any interest in parting with any of the items mentioned.

maybe Beauvillier, but I really think the only case where McLeod is traded is if he needs to be added to a Hellebuyck deal
