What on planet earth is that Calgary trade, my goodness. I would way rather keep those guys than have Vladar if that's what it costs.

Why? Vladar and Woll would be a decent tandem. Jarnkrok and Lafferty are great pieces but I like the upside of Vladar at around $2m for 2 years. Need money next year for Matthews and Nylander especially with the Murray buyout.

So no one on here has bothered to look at Vlader or Woll eh? Or even Murray and Samsonov. If they did, they would see that the worst of the bunch last season was Vlader.

Vlader had worse results than every leaf goalie last season. Including Murray

Vlader isn't good, he was worse than Murray last year.

Goalies are voodoo and if the core remains, you gotta sacrifice $ in certain areas.

So trading away better goalies so we can have a good promising guy in Woll and a bad back up is smart?

You’re advocating keeping Murray? You just can’t do that. I like Samsonov but Id rather find value in goaltenders and spend $ to actually bring in more depth to the lineup.

I would have no problem with 1 year of Murray as a tandem with Woll. And if you would look into it. Murray was better than Vlader last season.
