Goofy Trade but I feel like it or something similar could work for all the teams.

Carolina gets scoring and a goalie until Pyotr is ready. Grzelcyk stays a year, we get another 1 year defenseman, and then Nikishin hopefully comes. This also keeps enough salary cap to resign Aho, Necas, Jarvis, and hopefully Skjei and Pesce. They dont like rentals but with the contract situation moving forth, they go all in without committing too much money down the line.

Calgary goes into a rebuild under their new management. With Lindholm, Hanafin, and Backlund not wanting to resign and with Huberdeau and Weegar under contract til 2031 and Kadri til 2028, I'm not sure there is a whole lot they can do. They get more than enough picks to start the rebuild.

Boston gets Lindholm and Hanafin and signs them long term. I don't think the Canes would be interested in signing them long term. If Calgary does want to rebuild, Boston does not have the picks to get these guys, so Carolina sends the picks for them. And they get Vladar to pair with Swayman, with good goalie prospects in the system.

Car 1st in 23 and 24, and the Philly 2nd will probably be in the 33 to 35 range

Canes are getting the short end of the stick here value wise, no? Especially considering that they wouldn’t be giving up a first round pick for any of the players that they are bringing in for this scenario. And they sure as hell aren’t paying the Flames to send bigger pieces to Boston of all teams.
