Description

I was deciphering the 2024-25-26 pick the Habs got from Calgary for Toffoli and I found a condition where if Huberdeau sees his shadow by the light of the full moon during any game played on a Tuesday in December, ownership for Harvey The Hound is transferred to the Habs until such a time as Hughes throws salt over his shoulder at exactly 135 degrees while passing a black cat in an alleyway.

Since the Flames clearly don't want that, I figured maybe we just do this?

Just go Wolf and their 2023 1st for the 2025 1st. It's a huge overpay as of right now but with the way they are headed that 1st could be gold.

PS I am joking about asking for Wolfandthe 1st cause I know the Flames won't do it but it would be awesome if they did lol.

With Toffoli, Backlund and Lindholm out, they're probably going to make bad trades trying to get NHL players backjust like they did with Tkachuk. They can't go full rebuild and trade them for future because they just signed Huberdeau and Kadri long term.

Just keep the 2025 1st and hope it ends up top 10.
