Detroit passes on both trades, And it's not even close. Both trades are extremely bad.

Wings pass on both trades and it's not even close, pretty Terribly for them and makes 0 sense and Yzerman would never do these bogus trades

You sent 3 good picks, a big player that plays with an edge and is only getting better plus a really good prospect for a left handed defencemen that we have 10 of within the organization. A 31 year old winger that, although would be nice to have, doesn't fit our timeline at all and most walks in free agency. Then there is the meh backup goalie and the overpaid AHL forward. This trade makes very little sense to do. You sent out 5 really good assets and the team is only just slightly better for one season.
Then the Arizona trade, it's next level bad. You sent our third best prospect and our only good goalie prospect along with an effective when healthy middle six forward plus a second for a fourth liner and a backup goalie that you aren't even playing in the NHL? Ingram put up better numbers than Vladar on a far worse team, why isn't he in the line up? Now you likely lose him on waivers so what was the point to the trade?
The rebuild would likely be extended for about 2-3 years with these moves. Toffoli is guaranteed to walk as a UFA. Hanifin will see where the team is and likely walk as a UFA. So after trading 7 premium assets you are left with an over paid AHLer, a back up goalie and a fourth line forward.
