Interesting. Wings probably go for that unless someone is there at 9 that we love

Can we swap Harris for someone else?

I'm virtually allergic to the idea of trading Swayman but I gotta say the value is here. Mesar and the 2nd are compelling pieces and I like Vejmelkas contract

Need a Right handed D, I know he plays both sides, but just needs to shoot right. Wings are going to pass based on that, otherwise it's pretty fair

Vejmelka's contract may end up being one of the best fits for a team like the Bruins.

If the need is an rhd, I'd add Addison, but the Wings could get him themselves. Rhd prospects on the Habs are well known as non existent. Tourigny has a ton of upside, as does Kostenko but they're unlikely to get a chance over some better lhd prospects. I'd take a chance on both of them, they're unsigned so it's 0 contracts coming over. Then I'd request a Rohrer or Kapanen who both have tons of upside. Then maybe a 3rd or 4th

Pens appear to be wanting to trade Granlund in a hockey trade, not a cap dump. They decline.

Thoughts on Ruuta? And what would it take to add?

Rutta is interesting. My guess is he goes somewhere with a 4th or 5th and that team eats half of his salary and flip him for a 3rd.

If MTL is willing to eat 1.3MM for two years, they could probably get a 3rd and 4th/5th out of it.

I also think they could get a 4th for Edmundson if they retained. At full value he is a dump.

I like Addison and if he's part of the deal, can't be upset over it

AZ 12OA + hayton + veg for 5OA + and 3 throw in pieces, hmmm a lot for AZ to give up but to get smith & benson (or leonard or whomever) @ 5 & 6.

that's the thought. Enticing draft, two top 10s is really good. Hell, two top 15s is good((det trade(and it'd be 3 top 20s))

rhd guys I've noted are Fabbro, Jokiharju, Boqvist. If Addison goes your way, I as the Habs would go for one of them using Harris, and getting picks back.
