Preds pass. And Garland likely doesn't net you a good return. Nucks fans need to realize that

That's already not a good return. Vancouver will keep him if they're not going to get a good return. They're not pressed for cap space anymore.

It was reported not long ago that other teams wanted sweeteners to take Garland. I'm just relaying what I heard

Sure, that was before the OEL buyout when teams were trying to squeeze Vancouver due to their cap space. Most Canuck fans don't want to trade Garland, he's a great two-way winger and he's worth the value of his contract, Vancouver is simply overloaded at the wing and has needs elsewhere. If the Canucks are still looking to move Garland, it's to upgrade the defense or for a higher pick/prospect.

That was when Vancouver was "over" the cap before buying out OEL. Garland probably won't return a good pick but might return a change of scenery young player in return from some team that wants a 50 pt middle six winger who doesn't need the pp for his points.

That might be trhe case. Although I don't really see if a GM wasn't going to pay for him yesterday, they'd suddenly want him tomorrow. If Vancouver was willing to retain then I could 100% see teams being all over it.
