I get that Konecny is great and young but ponying up two firsts and a former first is a little too steep on the Avs side of things.

At 50 percent retained that’s what it would cost for us I think. I think it would be worth it for our chances at a cup the next 2 seasons.

I just don’t think it’s worth it. Looking at the last 3 moves they’ve made it’s clear they want to get the most value possible while giving the least amount of value possible.
