Idk if it makes much sense for the flames to trade their own pick when it looks like they are going to have to rebuild. It also make them more hesitant to make deals for futures during the Trade Deadline.

They’re trading the 16th for the 11th and then the 11th for the 5th overall, in this scenerio. While taking on 2 cap dumps and trading away to good players who will probably not re-sign with them anyways

Doesn't matter, how do you know they are trying to move up 5 picks? these are the 2024 picks, not the one's about to do in 3 hours from now.

Because the OP said Number 5, as in 5th OA. Judging from the picks they were allowed to trade it means that Capfriendly has already removed this years draft picks from being tradable
