Description
just playing around and i know this never happens.
ANA fans though, what would be the actual cost for Adam Fantilli. I heard wasn't even that high on him
I think his play style would fit BOS perfect as the Bergeron replacement

Nope. Fantilli is expected to be a franchise level player, which is exactly what Anaheim needs.

Boston has one of, if not the weakest prospect pools in the league. Even the top prospects in that system are just average compared to what Anaheim already has in theirs.

What kind of drugs are you on?

A pile of middle to bottom roster players for the 2nd overall is comical enough. Adding the 24 1st too is the cherry on top.

Anything that does not involve Mac is not going to cut it. Even then….probably not.

(Cap friendly won't let you use 23 picks right now, he means it for the 23 only)

But it's still comically and hilariously a no.

Let's put aside for the moment whether any team should be trading away the rights to a youngster who is expected to be a franchise cornerstone for the next decade. That package doesn't have much value to the Ducks. Forbort is worth at most a fourth or a fifth because he's a veteran with one year left on his deal and has a $3 million cap hit ($3.5 million in cash, which is a real turn-off for Anaheim), which is high for a part-timer whose primary usage would be as a penalty killer. Frederic is a solid third-liner but that position can be filled without too much effort. Lohrei is an excellent prospect at LhD but we have two better ones (Pavel Mintyukov and Olen Zellweger). Lysell is also an excellent prospect but we already have Jacob Perreault at RW plus the kid we select with the first pick tomorrow might be a potential top-6 RW. Svedeback is a good goalie prospect but we already have Lukas Dostal getting on-the-job training from John Gibson as his replacement and we have an excellent prospect in Calle Clang already in the AHL. To me, that's a good package for the #2C you need, but not nearly enough for Adam Fantilli.

yes just the 23rd pick, and that's why i'm asking if there's even anything outside of Pasta/McAvoy that would even have you guys interested?
Obviously just for fun as i know it would never happen

There really isn't. What were short on is star power, and that's what Fantilli will be. We've got all the 2nd pairing and middle 6 players we need for the next half decade. I get those are the best prospects you have in your system but we're also 0-2 on top prospects from Boston turning into anything with us, and have equal or better talent in our prospect pool already.

now now. You took Vaakenainen (however the hell it's spelled) no take-backs haha.
Yeah i kinda figured short of Pasta/McAvoy it'd be a non-starter, was just curious. I know god forbid for some people i even pose a question like this for fun....on a website designed for it...

the idea of getting Fantilli is fun to think about and play around with, some people take these ACGMs way too seriously

fun fact: Fantilli was a Bruins fan growing up
