I think Nino is likely getting underpaid here by $250,000-$500,000 per.

I also think Pominville is overvalued and Scandella undervalued (although I'm not at all high on Spooner like some are). I'm not sure if Pominville will cost to get rid of or not; doesn't seem like anything I've read has a good handle on it. If not, at best I'd think the Wild would get a late rounder for him and cap relief.

In this scenario I'd rather just keep Scandella and spend the extra $1 million per year than trade him for this and sign Stone. I wouldn't sign both Desharnais and Parenteau and definitely wouldn't give either of them 2 years, same with Vrbata. IMO Wild don't need to keep singing older guys to multiple year deals just to have them potentially blocking some young player from getting more ice time unless they are significant upgrades and it this point in their careers I'm not sure any of them are. I'd be interested in Vrbata on a 1 year deal but no more.

I also wouldn't give up a 2nd for Khaira. I don't think he's shown that type of value.

Wild would have to retain ~$3m on Pommer for AZ to give that much up.

Spooner isn't really a good center. He's good on the PP but with Granny he's redundant.
