Description
Graves and Jarry Term is ****ty, but the pens are cooked in 2 years anyways so who cares.

They still need to work on the bottom 6 and have under $1M.

I have to imagine that DeSmith is on the way out if they signed Nedeljkovic.

One of Petry or Granlund are leaving somehow, there's no way around it now because the bottom six needs more still.

I like Accari and Nieto signing, solid 4th line.

I think Petry leaves in Karlsson deal. Hopefully then can trade Granlund or Rutta in other deals as well. 3rd line still needs a lot of work.

Jarry contract is absolutely horrific, but it's tough because there will literally no other goalie options out there. Still would rather Jarry at 5 mil then giving up a 1st for a goalie.

Graves-Karlsson, Pettersson-Letang would be an unreal top 4 D though.

Jarry had all the leverage, and most likely could've gotten more Money elsewhere, pre draft rumor was he wanted $6M AAV.

End of the day I don't tihnk Saros or Ullmark were actually available via trade.

My Hope is Nedeljkovic helps with load management on Jarry, keep Jarry between 45-55 games .

I would rather Jarry than trade a 1st or even a 2nd for Ullmark. I think the D in front of the goalie matters more in our case. Graves helps a lot with that. Karlsson will help prevent the puck being jammed in our zone constantly. If we can rebuild the 3rd line a little more and get a 3D cheap then I'm feeling really good about this team.

agree on all of that. Letang and Karlsson both move it, Pety and Graves are more defensive. Accari and Nieto should be a defensive upgrade on the 4th, and Smith from what i can tell is pretty solid 2 way?

Rust on the third line imo would be solid as well.

Curious to see the rest unfold
