1) Murray is going to take at least a 1st and Robertson to dump. I'd rather buy out or exile him to Robidas Island.
2) Samsonov is likely looking for something close to Korpisalo's deal with Ottawa. I'd be shocked if he took anything less than $4M per.
3) I doubt Toews will do that. Feel like he was probably offered more money yesterday. Maybe I'm wrong though.

This expensive price to move Murray really needs to be put to bed. It’s likely not going to cost as much as you’ve stated, and he’s more than likely headed to LTIR for the season so why would Toronto give up THAT much of o move cap that won’t even affect them?

Boston dumped Taylor Hall and his $6m cap hit for 2 years with only a pending free agent in Nick Foligno as a sweetener and received 2 prospects in return.

The Islanders dumped Josh Bailey and his $5.5m cap for 1 season with a 2nd round pick from 3 drafts in the future as a sweetener and received nothing in return.

So how does Murray and his lower cap hit and term cost more than both of those players combined? At most he costs a 2nd or a prospect in that value range. But not a 1st or a young roster player.
