True, but I don't see any other options. if they do buyout options for Brodie and Murray, it's a 5.2m cap hit next year...But Domi, Klingberg and Bertuzzi are gone....would have to be replaced with inexpensive players.

True, no reason to think that Matthews and Nylander will be back either, which makes the Leafs considerably worse than worse in 24/25. That's what happens when the Leafs had a an incompetent GM (Dubas) who didn't manage the cap well, made bad signings, and made back trades which left the Leafs farm system barren.
