I think I would take Zegras over Byram because of Byram injury(ies) ?

No knock against Seider, but NYR probably go Cozens here.. NYR needed a high impact forward.

Zegras 4th, Caufield 6th, and Byram 7th. I’d also put Pinto, Maccelli, or Knight instead of Newhook

Having Caufield out of the top 5 is crazy, the guy has 48 goals and 70 points in his last 82 games.

Hughes and Seider are clearly ahead. Boldy is a 30 goal, 60 point two way winger. Zegras and Cozens both put up 65+ points in full seasons. Caufield is yet to play a full season, and is also awful defensively. Can’t put him over those 5 as of right now

You really just looked up “ winger archetypes“ and blindly guessed, how do I know? Because if you looked at the real deep analytics you would see that on most of them Caufield is forward average or just below it defensively. In terms of his résumé he has 48 goals and 70 points in his last 82 games over the last two seasons. He had a separated shoulder (which is one of the more easily repaired and recoverable injuries by the way) for half of that.Hughes and Seider yes, Boldy absolutely not. Boldy relies on the power play way too much, up until till the last 20 games of the season he had exactly half of his points on the PP. Cozens I can see the argument, but goal scores are more valuable than centres if the goal scorer has more points.

There are 4 different examples of analytics showing he’s awful defensively. Cozens has a higher single season goal total than Caufield, as does Boldy. If you took out their PP points, Boldy still has a higher PPG than Caufield, while being a lot better defensively. He’s definitely above Caufield. Once Caufield can play a full season and produce at the pace he was at, he can have a shot at the top 5. Until then he’s 6th
