Um no. Myers for Labanc is fine straight up. Sturm is 2x the value of Pearson so why the hell is SJ sending a pick here. Joke offer. Sturm is the best player in the deal overall and the sharks org loves him. He will get an “A” this year for sure.

Leafs decline. Liljegren is already an NHL player while Podkolzin only played 40 games this year

I think I would think long and hard on that one. Podkolzin was rushed to the NHL but he's got some impressive tools. I think its not the right move for TO since they could use some more depth on defence but it's worth thinking about.

I thought about it, I wouldn't have done it one for one if Vancouver added more I would. Like Podkolzin and a C tier prospect on d

would labanc not have slightly more value since his cap hit is lower (easier to get a return at TDL)?

Sturm does not have twice Pearson's value

Lebanc is owed 5.875M in actual cash compared to his 4.725M cap hit

Yep this makes Myers the far more valuable asset. RHD 6ft7 and has played top 4 minutes his entire career only owed 1mil in cash when the season gets started. He will be a valuable asset at the deadline if he gets dealt. Wouldn't shock me to see him return a late 1st at the deadline with double retention.

That's would be a cap hit of 1.5mil so pretty much anyone could fit him in. Real cash would be 62k. And the second team retaining would only have to pay 62k to retain 50% which makes him a likely candidate for double retention.

Pearson is an injury cap dump. Not trading a good 3rd line C for that

Well that shows how very little you know about hockey.
