Description

Laffy is tied to Gorton’s ability to pick players; why not offer NYR a god NHLer for depth, they have their LW stars in Kreider and Panarin. May as well het a low cost winger, a high prospect and a pick for your player that hasn’t proven his value up to now.Gorton may be the only GM that would consider overpaying for Laffy

Drury just said he is not trading Laffy, and especially not for this offer. Easy pass for the Rangers.

You’d have to do Harris + 2024 1st to get Drury to consider.

These spare parts MTL doesn’t care about is not a very enticing offer for the Rangers to trade Lafreniere.

Though I don't think Laffy's value is solid rn, I do think it's higher than this. However, that Calgary 1st is a big asset right now looking at that organization. I don't think this trade would be worth it, even if Nyr accept

Beck's ceiling is higher than Laf's trajectory so far, Laf is still young and has the potential to turn it around but it isn't looking good so far. Since Beck seems like he could be a solid 3C and Laf so far seems like he isn't more than a 3LW/RW I wouldn't make this trade since centers have more value (not saying Beck has more value just saying that centers in general have more value)

Maybe Drury considers if you remove the top 5 protection and make it Montreal's pick. He isn't gonna settle for a possible mid-late first round pick and Owen Beck when he has no reason to trade Laf in the first place.

Laf will cost you either Dach or Xhekaj. We need a now player, not picks or prospects.
