Liljegren’s numbers were great playing 5/6 role with the leafs. He’s a former 1st rounder. Similar to Sandin he’s not suited for that role. Lily actually passed sandin on the depth chart last season. Once sandin got moved to Washington playing top 4 minutes he was great put up 15 points down the stretch for them. Niemela is a top D prospect. I would argue both have top 4 potential.

That would be the best defence in the league but it’s a big overpay for zadarov. Maybe even a bit much for scheiffele

We'll have to disagree on their potential, I see both as bottom pair guys, so not really interesting. Especially with a full year of retention

I think the Jets most likely extend Scheifele, so there would need to be a high end piece to make them think about trading him now. The can get this same basic return at the TDL, so there's no reason to rush a deal.

Plus both pieces being RHD lessens the value a bit as if one makes it, the other is most likely redundant.
